Plus: On a hot summer evening Asha bruised her knee while playing ball with her friends. As her mom was at work she started looking around for some bandages and finally found a first-aid kit in the loft. It was covered in dust but the second she reached into it her fingers wrapped around a baby blue bandage. She immediately went back to play with her friends and only remembered the kit when at night she removed her bandage and her bruise was completely healed. From that day on, she roamed the neighbourhood from 3pm-5pm and gave candy to crying children, gave toys to the kids at the playground and recued kittens from trees. One day she ran across a little kitten, only about 6 months old, who was a little dirty and looked up at her with huge glinting eyes. Asha brought her home and convinced her mom to let her stay. After a while people started telling Asha that she was 'one of the kindest girl scouts they have ever met'. When Asha learned what girl scouts did she asked her mom to let her become an 'official' girl scout. This is how Asha and her little companion, who was named Hope, became one of the most famous and most loved residents of her neighbourhood.
